Sheila Peress Velez

Sheila Peress Velez has been a Tucsonan since 1974. Armed with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Sheila went on to teach in TUSD for 33 years including 13 years with special needs students and 20 years with fifth graders. Since 2010 Sheila has been an important licensed associate of her husband’s (John Velez) wealth management team, where she loves to teach and empower Quantum clients.

Sheila is currently Treasurer of Congregation Or Chadash Sisterhood as well as one of two Southwest Area Directors of Women of Reform Judaism. Sheila is the mother of three and grandmother of two.
